Bentley Instruments’ linear milk IR calibration sets – medium concentration – are composed of 14 raw cow milk samples (100 mL each), carefully selected to cover a representative fat concentration range of 1.0 to 5.0 g/100g. This calibration set is ideal for verifying analyzer linearity and ensuring reliable performance in routine milk composition analysis.

These mid-infrared calibration standards are store at cold positive and contain a stabilizer to preserve sample integrity over time.

Specifically validated for major components analysis in milk, these calibration sets provide optimal control of mid-infrared analyzers such as the DairySpec FT and FTS. They ensure long-term stability, enhanced analytical accuracy, and early detection of instrument drift.

The reference values for each calibration sample are established using the following reference methods:

• Roese-Gottlieb method for fat content
• Kjeldhal method for true protein content
• Kjeldahl method for crude protein content
• HPLC method for lactose

Our linear milk IR calibration sets – medium concentration – are shipped monthly according to a predefined schedule. Each shipment is prepared in isothermal packaging with ice packs to maintain the cold chain and ensure optimal sample preservation. A sealed water bottle is included to monitor temperature stability upon delivery. All shipments are sent via express carrier for rapid and secure transport.
