Automation for the preparation of hard sampling vials

The Capper robot is used to dispense the preservative and cap the vials up to 2500 vials/hour. It can be equipped with an input/output module or a gravity roller depending on the space available.

How the Capper robot works

  • The trays containing the empty vials are placed at the entrance of the conveyor while the caps are placed in an enclosure above the unit,
  • The conveyor feeds the trays into the robot to dispense the preservative into the vials,
  • Once the preservative has been dispensed, the vials are then capped,
  • The trays finally finish their run on the other side of the Capper robot and are ready to be used for sampling in the field.
